It seems I have been taking pictures all
my life. I became serious
years ago when my husband bought me my
first real 35mm camera, a Canon EOS
Rebel. I started taking pictures of my
daughter and having fun, while learning
how to use the camera. Once I began
doing macro photography I wanted to
learn as much as possible. I joined a
photography group and started to learn
from the pros. I have taken classes to
learn as much as I can about how to take
good pictures and about my camera.
My daughter was getting married and
asked me to take the photos at the
wedding. I did a pretty good job and
other people started asking me to
photograph their weddings.
My style has begun to develop and I
really enjoy shooting weddings.
I
shoot weddings with my husband and we
make a good team. He understands what I
want and knows how to get those
unexpected shots. He has been taking
photographs almost as long as I have
been shooting. We work together on the
ceremony, cake cutting, and the formals,
getting different angles so we have a
variety of shots when the final photos
are picked.
I learned how to
create things, using my pictures in
Paint Shop Pro and how to use Adobe
Photo Shop to digitally enhance the
photos that I take or alter them in many
ways. I use two Canons now with several
lenses, to get that perfect shot.
Both of my
parents were photographers when they met
many years ago. This is where the name
of my business comes from, Morris is my
mothers name and Browning is my
fathers last name. So now 40 years later
Morris Browning Photography is born, I
hope to make as lasting of an impression
on my customers as my parents must have
made on me. I look forward to shooting
your wedding as much as I did my own
daughters.
